Welcome to the Wellman v. City of Miami and Theodore, et al. v. City of Miami Class Action Website



If your vehicle was impounded in the City of Miami under the city’s Vehicle Impoundment Ordinance at any time between June 1, 1997 and October 2, 2009, you may be eligible to participate in this class action lawsuit.


To request a refund under the Settlement Agreement and Release, you must submit a Request for Refund Form postmarked on or before March 8, 2011.



Important Dates and Deadlines
Preliminary Approval: August 24, 2010
Submit a Request for Refund Form: March 8, 2011
Submit an Objection and File with the Clerk of the Court: November 16, 2010
Final Approval Hearing: December 1, 2010
